Forrest Pirovano - Cape Cod Paintings

About the Artist - Forrest Pirovano

Forrest Pirovano self-portrait

Forrest Pirovano was born in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey and moved to North Canton, Ohio when he was fourteen. While serving in the U.S. Navy, Forrest was introduced to the beauty of New England, especially Cape Cod. He fell in love with Cape Cod and his wife, Shirley. After graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, he and Shirley settled in Marshfield Massachusetts where he worked in the advertising world, eventually owning his own agency.

Forrest now lives on Cape Cod. He loves the architecture and its relationship to the unique Cape Cod countryside. His love of the sea is also reflected in his realistic paintings that are impressions of the colors and shapes of the region. Antique sailboats are his favorites and he loves to recreate their images in oil paint.

You can now visit Forrest's studio on Cape Cod in Mashpee Commons. You can see his latest oil paintings, and you can watch him paint. Stop in and say Hi. His studio is at 12 Market Street, next to the famous French restaurant "Bleu."
