Forrest Pirovano is an American painter born in 1946. He grew up in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey and North Canton, Ohio. He is a graduate of The Art Institure of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, graduating in 1971. After a long career in advertising, he now creates oil paintings and sells them in his studio in Mashpee on Cape Cod.

Forrest Pirovano's works are recognized and appreciated for the beauty and calmness they portray. They depict the lighthouse and antique wooden sailboats that are on and around Cape Cod.

Forrest is known for his "Forrest Blue" paintings which aim to bridge the gap between an extremely abstract backgound and the finely detailed wooden sailboats and lighthouses in the foreground. Forrest 's works are vibrantly colored, capturing the viewers' attention at first glance.
